Founder and CEO of The Code Lab, Joan McCann joined Brendan Courtney on the RTE Radio 1 Ryan Tubridy Show on Wednesday 16th August.

Joan was joined by Caroline Reidy of TheHRSuite to primite the launch of the next round of Acorns, a highly successful peer support initiative supported by the Department of Agriculture, Food and The Marine, focusing on early-stage female entrepreneurs living in rural Ireland.

Its a fantastic interview outlining the Acorms Programme and Joan’s story of her Journey to Entrepreneurship.

Joan McCann - Founder of The Code Lab

Joan is the Founder & Lead Instructor at The Code Lab. She is passionate about demystifying the world of Coding & Computer Science for Kids.

Joan has a BSc. in Computer Science and worked in the IT Industry for many years, before taking a career break to focus on her family. With four young children, she went in search of coding/STEM courses suitable for their age but couldn’t find any, SO SHE CREATED HER OWN!
