So let’s get going with Lesson 1, I hope your class enjoy it!
You will need access to the following technology to participate in this online coding courses:
- A Computer, Tablet or Smartphone to watch the course video’s on.
- A Laptop or Desktop computer to do their own coding. This course doesn't suit the use of a Tablet, due to the nature of the games being created.
- Headphones are recommended, as this course contains video lessons with audio.
- Internet Connection – you will need an internet connection so you child can watch the video lessons and code along in Scratch online.
- You will need to create an account on the Scratch website with a parent/guardians supervision, so you can safely code and save your mini games. Go to www.scratch.mit.edu/register to create an account, it only takes a few minutes and we have a lesson to guide you through the steps involved.
